Los Angeles, CA – Actors Zendaya and Robert Pattinson recently participated in a discussion with LADbible Entertainment, tackling popular internet debates. Among the topics addressed was the long-standing question of who is the best character on the beloved television show, Friends.

Zendaya's Limited 'Friends' Experience

Zendaya admitted she is relatively new to the series, having only recently watched a single episode. “Okay, this is going to be a little controversial, but I saw my first episode of Friends recently,” she stated. “Like full episode of Friends recently. I didn’t grow up with Friends.”

Despite her limited exposure, Zendaya expressed a positive impression. “I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it, but I didn’t grow up with Friends. So, uh, again, I don’t really have a strong opinion on this,” she explained. However, she did acknowledge liking Phoebe, moving a glass towards the “Agree” side of the debate.

Pattinson's Unexpected Choice

Robert Pattinson, however, diverged from the popular opinion that Phoebe is the best character. “I’m more of a Joey person,” Pattinson declared emphatically. “I’m a Joey.”

This declaration prompted confusion from Zendaya, who asked, “Which one’s Joey?” Pattinson ultimately confirmed his disagreement with the prevailing internet sentiment, stating, “Disagree. Yes.”

Upcoming Projects

Zendaya and Pattinson will soon appear together in The Odyssey, which is scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2026. The film also stars Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, and Zoë Winters. They are also both involved in Dune: Part Three.
