Wyclef Jean recently shared exciting news for Fugees fans, suggesting that previously unheard music from the group's seminal The Score period could be released.

Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the celebrated Haitian artist hinted at a treasure trove of material currently held in the vault. This includes various outtakes and freestyles recorded during the mid-1990s sessions.

The Vault of Unreleased Fugees Gems

Jean expressed enthusiasm about the potential release of this archival content. He believes fans would greatly appreciate hearing these forgotten recordings.

“One of the things I think that’s cool is some of the unreleased Fugees material,” Jean explained during the interview. “We have a lot of outtakes and at times we went in and tried a few records and I think fans will enjoy some of the outtakes and some of the freestyles that happened.”

A Potential Celebration of History

The artist indicated that conversations about this release are already underway. He feels that celebrating this era of the group's history would be a significant event.

“I think celebrating it like that, we’ve been having conversations, I think it would be pretty amazing,” he added.
