The first 911 calls came in just after midnight Sunday morning near East Sherwood Street and East 91st Street. Officers arrived at the scene to a chaotic crowd, with bullet casings everywhere, and the two women on the ground. “One of them was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. They are in stable condition. And then there was a second that died of their wounds,” Tacoma Police Department Officer Shelbie Boyd said.Police said they have no suspect, and it is unclear whether the women were targeted or were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
