Authorities in Rock County, Wisconsin, responded to a grim scene on March 20 after a disturbing confession call. Tyiece Oninski, a resident of the Town of Turtle, contacted law enforcement to admit she had killed her daughter, Kuren Rein, the previous night.

Confession and Alleged Motive

During a 13-minute call with dispatchers, Oninski stated she acted in order to “protect her from somebody else.” She later identified technology mogul Elon Musk as the specific individual she believed posed a threat to the 14-year-old.

Disturbing Exchange with Authorities

When emergency services inquired if the mother required an ambulance for her daughter, Oninski reportedly responded sharply, “She’s dead, honey. She needs a hearse.” This exchange highlighted the severity of the situation immediately upon contact with authorities.
