‘Weapons’ Universe Expands with ‘Gladys’ Prequel

Following the success of the 2025 horror film Weapons, Warner Bros. and New Line are developing a prequel centered around the film’s breakout villain, Aunt Gladys. The project, currently titled Gladys, will delve into the origins of the character who captivated audiences worldwide.

Zach Cregger Returns to Lead the Project

Zach Cregger, the director and writer of Weapons, will once again be at the helm. He will co-write the screenplay with Zach Shields and also serve as a producer. Roy Lee and Miri Yoon of Vertigo Entertainment will also produce the upcoming film.
