President Donald Trump revealed a first look at the proposed plans for his presidential library and museum in a video posted to social media on Monday night. The video, created using artificial intelligence, depicts the future library’s location in Miami, Florida.

Library Location and Design

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the waterfront location in Miami last September. The video portrays a multi-story tower prominently displaying the “TRUMP” logo, consistent with the branding of his other properties. Eric Trump, son of the President, shared the video on X on March 30, 2026.

Key Features of the Proposed Library

The rendering showcases a West Wing-style colonnade, an auditorium, and a large ballroom resembling plans for a ballroom currently under construction to replace the East Wing of the White House. A replica of the Oval Office, including the President’s updated decor, is also featured.

Statue and Gifted Aircraft

The AI-generated video includes a large amphitheater space with a prominent, gold statue of Donald Trump. The library is also planned to house a $400 million luxury jet gifted to the Trump administration by Qatar.

Hotel and Future Plans

President Trump confirmed to ABC News that the property would “most likely” function as a hotel. He stated, “It’s most likely going to be a hotel with a beautiful building underneath and a 747 Air Force One in the lobby, which is going to be a trick.” He reiterated that construction would not begin until after he leaves office.

The Qatari Jet and Air Force One

According to a memorandum of understanding signed by Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth and Qatar’s Minister of State for Defense Affairs, the jet, dubbed a “flying palace,” will be transferred to the presidential library foundation after Trump’s term. The plan mirrors the display of President Ronald Reagan’s Air Force One at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

However, the rendering depicts the jet with the current Air Force One’s powder blue livery, despite a new dark blue, red, and gold color scheme being confirmed for the retrofitted Qatari jet in mid-February by the Air Force.

Fundraising and Project Timeline

The exact amount of funds raised for the library and museum remains unknown. The initial 501 organization established for the library dissolved last year without issuing an annual report. President Trump stated he had “poured my heart and soul into this project” over the past six months and gave his son’s plans “five stars” in an interview with ABC News’ Jon Karl, calling the building “beautiful.”
