Former President Donald Trump shared a video on Monday, March 30, 2026, showcasing plans for his presidential library and museum, planned for Miami, Florida. The video, created using artificial intelligence, depicts the future library and its amenities.
Library Design and Features
The proposed library is envisioned as a multi-story tower prominently displaying the “TRUMP” logo. Renderings show a West Wing-style colonnade, a large auditorium, and a ballroom comparable in size to the one currently under construction to replace the East Wing of the White House.
Key Amenities
- A replica of the Oval Office, reflecting President Trump’s updated décor.
- A large amphitheater featuring a gold statue of Donald Trump.
- A hotel, which Trump indicated would be a central part of the complex.
Qatar Gift and Aircraft Display
The video also features a $400 million luxury jet gifted to the Trump administration by Qatar. Trump confirmed to ABC News that the property is “most likely going to be a hotel.” He also stated that construction will not begin until after his current term in office.
Air Force One Display
The plans include displaying the Qatari jet alongside other aircraft, similar to how President Ronald Reagan’s Air Force One is exhibited at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. However, the rendering depicts the jet with the current Air Force One livery, despite a new color scheme being planned.
Project Timeline and Funding
President Trump stated he has “poured my heart and soul into this project” over the past six months and gave his son Eric Trump’s plans “five stars.” The initial fundraising organization for the library dissolved last year without issuing a financial report, making the total funds raised currently unknown.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the Miami location last September. Trump reiterated that work on the project would not commence until after leaving office.
