Rumors of Faris’s casting in Toy Story 5 began to spread online recently. Faris addressed the speculation in an interview with Variety, stating, “No, that’s just a rumor. I’m not in it. I wish I was. I love doing voice work, but no, that was an internet rumor.”
She further explained that even her parents inquired about the reports. “My mom and dad called me, and they’re like, ‘You’re in it?’ I was like, ‘No, but I wish I was.’”
