Tiger Woods plans to play a full TGL schedule in 2027 after completing a rehab stint following his DUI arrest, PGA Tour pro Kevin Kisner revealed. Kisner said Woods, 50, wants to return to golf early next year and could target The Masters in 2027 if all goes well. Kisner shared the news on the Fore Play podcast, where he serves as co-host. He said Woods longtime friend and business partner Rob McNamara texted him a long message last week explaining the plan.Kisner Exits Jupiter Links TeamKisner said McNamara told him what they did on their decisions, how they were moving around and what players were going to do and that Tiger wanted to play a full schedule. Kisner added that the exit was discussed at the end of the season. The news came as Kisner confirmed he is no longer on the Jupiter Links team. Kisner said his two-year contract with the tech-driven indoor league founded by Woods was not renewed.Tiger wants to play and then they wanted to sign Keith Mitchell, which is totally fine with me, Kisner said. It gives me a chance to hang out in January and February instead of flying back and forth to Palm Beach every Monday. Kisner said he holds no hard feelings and expects to stay involved with the team in some fashion. He added that he may even have equity in Jupiter Links from his playing days.Keith will be great on Jupiter Links and I am sure I will still be involved in some sort of fashion at some point, Kisner said. Go down there and do some stuff for em. I talked to a bunch of the guys this week before the rosters came out and we all talked about everything going on. So, all good on my end.Kisner Questions TGL Player RoleYou know, the Bad News Bears are still going to be a part of my life and hopefully they continue to win, he added. I think I might even have some equity in the team or something from playing, so I hope they continue to win and win a bunch of money, Kisner said. Kisner noted he has barely competed this year, playing only twice, and questioned whether TGL viewers want a part-time podcaster and broadcaster in the lineup.I mean, I am not even playing any more really. I played two times this year, Kisner said. I do not think people that are watching TGL really want part-time podcaster, part-time broadcaster playing in TGL. But they are playing for millions of dollars now so, I do not know.Kisner also expects Woods to test his game in regular tournaments before any major return. He pointed to the Hero World Challenge, the annual event hosted by Woods to benefit his TGR Foundation, and the PNC Championship, a family-focused event where Woods has played with his son Charlie. The way he was swinging and moving on the range, I mean, the guy loves to compete, Kisner said.Woods Targeting Masters ReturnCome back, get your feet wet at the Hero, play with Charlie in the father-son, play some TGL and get ready for Augusta. If all goes well, Kisner said he could see Woods playing at The Masters in 2027. Woods returned to TGL play with Jupiter Links on March 24 after rehabbing back and Achilles injuries, just three days before his arrest. He was arrested on Jupiter Island on charges of driving under the influence and two other misdemeanors after his Land Rover crashed and flipped. The crash involved a pressure-cleaning truck pulling a small trailer. Woods refused a urine test after the rollover crash and was found with two hydrocodone pills on his person during a search at the scene, according to the report.DUI Arrest And Legal OutcomeHe blew zeros on a breathalyzer test and told an arresting officer he had taken prescription medication earlier in the day. He entered a plea deal in September in which his charges were reduced. Under the agreement, he faced a five-year suspension of his driver license, and the DUI charge was dropped. He had pleaded not guilty before the deal.Woods completed a rehab stint in Switzerland and checked out of a treatment facility and returned home in June.
