Three Detained Following Alleged Home Invasion Attempt

Three individuals were arrested on Sunday following an alleged attempt to burglarize the Miami home belonging to Larsa Pippen, a star of the reality series 'Real Housewives of Miami.' Pinecrest Police confirmed the arrests shortly after the incident occurred.

According to a statement released by the police via Facebook, all three suspects were identified as being from out of state. Officers managed to apprehend the group within minutes of the initial attempt to flee the property.

Police Response to Alarm and Surveillance Footage

The initial call to law enforcement was prompted by a house alarm activation in the area of 67th Avenue and 113th Street in Pinecrest. As officers were en route to the address, further information indicated a more serious situation.

Police later stated in a separate release to NBC News that surveillance video captured evidence of a "burglary in progress." This confirmed the need for an immediate and robust police response to the scene.

Chase and Apprehension of Suspects

Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle fleeing the area of Pippen's residence. The pursuit concluded when the fleeing vehicle crashed at the intersection of Southwest 57th Avenue and 94th Street.

The suspects then exited the damaged car and attempted to escape on foot into a nearby neighborhood. However, police successfully took all three into custody shortly thereafter.

Pinecrest Police emphasized their commitment to public safety in their Facebook statement, declaring, "This incident serves as a stark reminder that Pinecrest will not tolerate criminal activity." No additional details regarding the incident or the arrests have been released.

Context: Larsa Pippen in the Headlines

Representatives for Larsa Pippen have not yet provided an immediate comment regarding the attempted break-in. This event follows recent news concerning Pippen's television career.

Reports surfaced this month suggesting that Bravo was considering pausing production for 'Real Housewives of Miami' due to perceived low ratings. Pippen publicly shared her dissatisfaction with this news on her Instagram story.

She specifically criticized a sister series, 'Real Housewives of New York City,' calling it "terrible without the old cast members," according to her social media post.
