Bulverde, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde on Thursday, resulting in the death of a teacher and a student.

Shooting and Lockdown

Investigators reported that a 15-year-old boy shot a teacher before fatally shooting himself. The incident prompted an immediate lockdown of the high school campus.

School Response

Principal Julie Wiley confirmed the presence of local law enforcement on campus in an alert. She stated that the building was secured and the threat contained.

Separate Incident: Antonio Daniels' Victory

In a separate, unrelated event, former basketball player Antonio Daniels recounted a dominant video game victory from the early 2000s. Daniels, along with Maximum Sports, was known for competitive Madden games.

Dominating Performance

Daniels perfected a “spin move” during the game, leading to a one-sided win. He also utilized the opportunity to engage in playful trash talk due to the game’s quick conclusion.

Despite the competitive nature of the game, no ill will was held. Coverage was later provided for Daniels’ basketball camp scheduled for the following week.

Statewide Emergency Drill

The Texas Department of Emergency Management conducted a Public Warning System Statewide Drill on Thursday, April 2, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Classes were canceled at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde following the shooting.
