Syracuse recently hosted a promising two-way football player from Florida, freshman athlete Rolle, who already boasts over 30 scholarship offers from major college programs.
Extensive Offer List
Rolle’s impressive offer sheet includes schools such as Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, and Tennessee. Despite being just a freshman, he is quickly becoming a highly sought-after recruit.
Impressions of the Visit
The visit to Central New York proved to be a significant experience for Rolle. He described it as “eye-opening” and spent considerable time with Syracuse head coach Fran Brown.
Coach Brown's Impact
“Just being around coach Fran was amazing,” Rolle said. “Watching how he coaches and how he works with his team to get better each and every day. A great time was had. I cant wait to get back up there.”
Vision for the Future
Discussions with Coach Brown centered on the coach’s vision for the Syracuse football program. Brown expressed his desire to compete for ACC and National Championships in the coming years.
The D.A.R.T. Philosophy
Brown plans to achieve this through his coaching philosophy, known as D.A.R.T. Rolle explained, “I think the culture DART is a mindset of discipline and is to help the players grow.” He added, “Me and coach Fran just talked about what I liked about Syracuse and what did I like about the practices and meetings.”
Positive Program Outlook
Rolle left Syracuse with a positive impression of the program’s direction. “The program is great,” he stated. “I can see that Syracuse is trying to build something and is putting major effort to make that happen.”
Florida Recruiting Focus
Syracuse, under the leadership of General Manager Tommy Caporale, has prioritized recruiting in Florida. The Orange secured the most players from the Sunshine State in the 2026 recruiting cycle, including a five-star prospect. Rolle believes this demonstrates the program’s confidence in Florida’s talent pool: “I think Syracuse trust that Florida has a lot of talent, That's why they recruit us Florida prospects heavy.”
On-Field Performance and Potential
Rolle’s high school team recently finished with a 9-4 record, and he excelled as both a wide receiver and defensive back. “My 2025 season was great,” Rolle said. “I still have a lot of working to do because nobody is perfect. But best believe I’m going get to my max potential.” He described his playing style, stating, “I’m the type of DB that loves man and pressing at the line, and I can play zone. I’m the type of WR that will go make a play on the football when its in the air.”
