St. James Man Faces Gun Charges

Bryan Bennett, a 36-year-old resident of St. James, New York, has been accused of illegally selling firearms to an undercover officer. Authorities allege that Bennett constructed and sold a total of 12 untraceable guns during three separate transactions.

The alleged sales occurred between March 2024 and January 2026. Bennett reportedly sold the firearms to the undercover officer on three distinct occasions during this period.

Arrest and Evidence Recovery

Suffolk County police arrested Bennett on February 25th and discovered five illegal firearms in his possession. Subsequent searches of two properties linked to Bennett yielded a significant amount of evidence, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney.
