The studio also confirms the sequel 24 Jump Street and shifts Justin Lin's Helldivers to summer 2028. Sony moved the release date for Takashi Yamazaki's Bad Robot production Grandgear from February 18, 2028, to MLK weekend on January 14, 2028. The studio announced the change during Cinema United's Fall Summit. Grandgear faces competition from Paramount's Longlegs sequel, an untitled Universal movie, and Amazon MGM Studios' Alone at Dawn. In the same window, Sony locked in November 11, 2027, for Ridley Scott's Treasure Island and December 10, 2027, for the sequel 24 Jump Street. Two new arrivals include The Surgeon (April 2, 2027) and Narcs (August 20, 2027). Justin Lin's Helldivers was pushed to June 9, 2028, due to Treasure Island's priority.
