April is here, and San Antonio is buzzing with exciting festivals and events! From cultural celebrations to family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month.

Fiesta San Antonio Returns

The city’s biggest party of the year, Fiesta, officially returns from April 16-26! This annual 11-day celebration brings parades, live music, delicious food, and community events across the city. KSAT will be livestreaming some of Fiesta’s biggest events. Dozens of parades and events will be taking place throughout the 11 days.

Poteet Strawberry Festival

The 79th annual Poteet Strawberry Festival will take place from April 10-12. Enjoy an entertainment lineup featuring Los Invasores De Nuevo Leon, Pesado, and Braxton Keith. Single day admission costs $24 online, and a three-day pass is $79.99.

Helotes Corn Festival

The annual Helotes Corn Festival returns from April 30 through May 3 at 12210 Leslie Road. This year marks 61 years of food, live music, a rodeo, and, of course, corn!

Other Culinary Events

Pedrotti’s Ranch will host a food and beverage event with vendor booths and live music from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 15 in Helotes. Pearl will also host a Night Market on April 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Siclovia

The YMCA of Greater San Antonio’s Siclovia turns downtown San Antonio area streets into a safe place for exercise and play. View a map of the route online.

Easter Weekend at Brackenridge Park

The Brackenridge Park Conservancy will host an Easter weekend celebration from April 3-5 at Joske Pavilion. The park’s 11 p.m. curfew will be lifted starting Thursday evening, and the celebration will include live music, egg hunts, and a special appearance.

San Antonio River Fishing

Bring your fishing rod and bait to fish at the San Antonio River from 9 a.m. to noon on April 11 at Joske Pavilion. No fishing license is required for this family-friendly event.

Music & Entertainment

Concerts at Frost Bank Center

Mexican singer Peso Pluma will perform his “Dinastia” tour at 8 p.m. on April 3 at the Frost Bank Center. Tickets are available. Kane Brown will perform his “King of Hearts Tour” at 7 p.m. on April 9 at the same venue. Tickets can also be found online.

Other Performances

The Silver and Black will play several NBA games throughout April at the Frost Bank Center. Disney On Ice’s “Jump In!” will be at the Alamodome from April 9-12. The band The Revivalists will perform their “Don’t Go in the Forest” tour at 7 p.m. on April 22 at the Aztec Theatre. NEEDTOBREATHE will bring their “The Land of Milk and Honey Tour” to the Freeman Coliseum at 7 p.m. on April 22.
