Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to receive support through its online component, Red Dead Online, with a new content update released for April. Despite Rockstar Games’ primary focus shifting towards the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in November, the developer remains committed to providing engaging experiences for players within the Red Dead universe.

Trader Sales Event

The latest event centers around Trader Sales, offering substantial bonuses to players who brave the frontier. According to Rockstar’s website, players can earn “3X RDO$, XP, and Role XP on all Trader Sales, plus garner additional bonuses” for successfully delivering animal carcasses and pelts.

Exclusive Rewards

Completing five Trader Sales during the event period will unlock the Fortune Buckle for your character. Players who complete all Trader Daily Challenges will be rewarded with the Tennessee Walker Camp Flag. Prominent Traders who have reached Rank 20 will receive the Burdall Hat.

Additional Bonuses & Challenges

Beyond Trader Sales, Call to Arms missions are also offering increased rewards. Players can earn 3X RDO$, Gold, and XP on these missions. Reaching Wave 4 in any Call to Arms mission throughout April will grant players the Larkin Gloves.

Fishing Challenge

For those who prefer a more peaceful pursuit, fishing has also received a boost. Players can earn 5X RDO$ for all Fish Sales to the Butcher, and 5X RDO$ and XP through May 4 by participating in the Fishing Challenge Free Roam Event.

Keeping the Cowboy Spirit Alive

While not a replacement for the highly anticipated GTA VI, this update offers a wealth of content for fans of Rockstar’s Western epic. With Red Dead Redemption 3 potentially years away, Red Dead Online provides a continuing outlet for players to enjoy the world and gameplay they love.
