Real Housewives of Miami Star Lisa Hochstein Surrenders to Jail on Felony Interception Charges Lisa Hochstein, a prominent figure from Real Housewives of Miami, has turned herself in to a Miami-Dade jail following felony charges related to wiretapping and interception of communication. The accusations are tied to a contentious divorce and allege the installation of a listening device in her ex-husband's vehicle. Reality television personality Lisa Hochstein, aged 43, surrendered to Miami-Dade authorities on Wednesday, facing felony charges for intercepting communications. Jail records indicate she was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Hochstein's attorney, Jayne Weintraub, stated that her client would be released on her own recognizance, negating the need for a bond payment. Weintraub emphasized that the case is intrinsically linked to a contentious divorce proceeding and inappropriately belongs in the criminal justice system. The charges are also leveled against Hochstein's former boyfriend, Jody Daniel Glidden, who was apprehended the previous week. Court documents filed in Miami-Dade on March 19th allege that Hochstein and Glidden unlawfully and intentionally intercepted, attempted to intercept, or procured another individual to intercept oral statements made by Lenny Hochstein and his associates. Florida operates under an all-parties consent law, rendering the unauthorized recording of private conversations illegal. The accusation stems from an alleged incident approximately three years prior, wherein Lenny Hochstein, a prominent plastic surgeon widely known as Miami's 'boob God,' accused his then-estranged wife and Glidden of placing a listening device in his vehicle in 2023. At the time, the couple was deeply embroiled in a difficult divorce. An arrest warrant details that Lenny Hochstein informed investigators he discovered a digital audio recorder concealed within his Mercedes after allowing Lisa Hochstein to use the vehicle. He promptly reported the discovery to the Miami Beach Police Department, initiating the investigation. Lenny Hochstein further engaged a private investigator, who purportedly found recordings on the device featuring conversations between Lisa Hochstein and Glidden, according to the warrant. Law enforcement examined the device and uncovered 98 recordings. One recording captured a conversation between Lisa Hochstein and Glidden that was followed by the distinct sound of a device being adjusted into place, suggesting its covert installation. Other recordings documented Lenny Hochstein discussing Lisa and their children, engaging with patients, and conversing with a female acquaintance, as per the warrant. Records obtained from Amazon revealed that Glidden had purchased two recording devices of identical make and model in December 2022, the warrant further stated. The affidavit asserts that the affiant has credible reason to believe that Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden, acting in concert, installed the hidden recording device without the victim's knowledge or consent, secretly recording conversations between the victim and numerous individuals, including the victim's patients. A supporter of Hochstein, present at the jail, expressed her commitment to her friend's well-being and emphasized the shared concern for the children's welfare. Glidden, upon his arrest, was released on a $5,000 bond and entered a plea of not guilty. Lisa and Lenny Hochstein were married for 13 years and are parents to two children, Logan, aged 10, and Elle, aged 6. Lenny Hochstein was featured alongside Lisa on the Bravo reality series, where they discussed their struggles with infertility and allegations of infidelity. Lenny filed for divorce in May 2022, and the divorce was finalized in 2024.
