Pokémon Legends: Z-A Finally Gets Pokémon HOME Support

Pokémon Legends: Z-A will undergo maintenance later today, paving the way for a highly requested feature. While April 1st marks the start of Season 9 Ranked Battles, the update will also introduce Pokémon HOME support to the game.

After a six-month wait, players will finally be able to transfer their Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Pokémon HOME. The official Pokémon HOME website detailed the maintenance schedule and downtime.

Pokémon HOME maintenance will begin on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Japan. This translates to approximately 8:00 PM ET on April 1st for players in the United States. The maintenance is expected to last around 12 hours, but could potentially extend up to 30 hours.

During the maintenance period, access to Pokémon HOME will be unavailable on both Nintendo Switch consoles and the mobile app. Once maintenance is complete, players will need to update to Version 4.0.0 on both Switch and mobile devices to regain access to Pokémon HOME.
