Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Adds Even More Illustration Rares to the Mix The Pokémon Company has revealed a second wave of illustration rares and special illustration rares for the 30th Celebration expansion, including Sylveon ex, Fuecoco ex, and a trio of legendary birds. These cards offer unique, non-battle-centric artwork that continues to push the boundaries of card rarity and collector value in the game. Illustration rares have made opening a pack considerably more dangerous for anyone trying to behave responsibly with their money. That could become a particularly serious problem with Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration. The upcoming expansion already includes returning cards from across the game's history, 30 different Pikachu cards, and the debut of a brand-new rarity. Apparently, that was not enough temptation for one anniversary set. The Pokémon Company has officially revealed another wave of illustration rares and special illustration rares from Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration. The newly unveiled cards include Sylveon ex, Fuecoco ex, Salamence ex, Jirachi ex, Greninja, Toxtricity, Morpeko, Maushold, Gholdengo, Scraggy, and Alolan Exeggutor.Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are also returning as a trio, with Pokémon teasing how the three individual cards look when placed together. While it won't have the same effect of seeing the three cards lined up on the table in front of you, we've mocked up what the cards together looks like below
