Royal Wedding Confirmed: Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling to Wed

A royal wedding is planned for this summer! Peter Phillips, the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, will marry Harriet Sperling in an intimate ceremony.

About the Couple

Peter Phillips is the son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. Harriet Sperling is a pediatric nurse and also works as a freelance writer.

Relationship Timeline

Phillips and Sperling began dating in 2024, making their first public appearance together at the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire, U.K., in May of that year. They announced their engagement in August 2025.

Over the past two years, Sperling has become a regular attendee at public events alongside Phillips, including Royal Ascot and Wimbledon. She also joined the royal family for the Christmas morning service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate on December 28, 2025.

Wedding Details

The wedding will be held at All Saints Church in Cirencester, England, on Saturday, June 6. The ceremony is expected to be intimate in nature.

Guest List

Senior members of the royal family, including Prince William and Princess Catherine, are expected to attend. A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that both families have been jointly informed of the wedding date by invitation. “Their Majesties The King and Queen, The Prince and Princess of Wales have also been informed of the announcement,” the spokesperson stated to People magazine.

Previous Marriages

This will be Phillips’s second marriage. He was previously married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2021, with whom he shares two daughters, Savannah and Isla. Sperling also has a daughter, Georgia, from a previous relationship.
