The Baltimore Orioles opened the game with a leadoff homer by Dylan Beavers, then exploded for five runs in the second inning to beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-4 on Friday night. Beavers led off with a solo shot, and in the second inning, Colton Cowser hit a two-run double and Beavers added a two-run single to make it 6-0 against Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer. The Blue Jays managed to score a few runs - including a solo homer by Kazuma Okamoto in the fourth - but the Orioles sealed the win with a solo shot from Coby Mayo in the seventh and strong pitching from Chris Bassitt and Rico Garcia.With this loss, Toronto falls to 73-75, sitting one game behind Cleveland for the final AL wild-card spot
