A man identified as Ohm is facing numerous charges, including attempted aggravated murder, following a police pursuit and shooting incident in Union County, Ohio. The charges stem from a confrontation with law enforcement that involved a vehicle chase and gunfire.

According to authorities, the incident began when police attempted to apprehend Ohm, leading to a vehicle pursuit. Body camera footage released by the Marysville Police Department shows officers repeatedly instructing Ohm to turn off his engine and exit his truck. Ohm allegedly revved the engine, prompting an officer to deploy a taser.
Shooting and Pursuit
Ohm then reportedly fired a weapon and sped away, leading officers to return fire. The pursuit continued until Ohm’s truck collided with other vehicles. Footage from the Union County Sheriff's Office shows deputies trailing Ohm’s truck, observing sparks coming from underneath the vehicle.
Confrontation and Arrest
The video depicts Ohm crossing the median and stopping in the grass. After exiting the disabled truck, Ohm allegedly turned towards deputies with an object in his hand, resulting in law enforcement firing their weapons. Officers immediately provided aid until medics arrived at the scene. A firearm was recovered near Ohm.

Police records indicate officers have responded to Ohm’s address on White Oak Court at least ten times since February 2024. These incidents include multiple suicide threats, domestic violence allegations, and neighborhood disputes. One incident involved the destruction of a bathroom door during an argument with his long-term girlfriend.
