New digital renderings have been revealed for the proposed Donald Trump presidential library skyscraper slated for downtown Miami. The project is planned to be situated directly next to the historic Freedom Tower landmark.

Visualizing the Miami Icon

The unveiled images depict a towering, mirrored skyscraper prominently featuring the signature “Trump” lettering seen on his other properties. Eric Trump, son of the former president, shared a video showcasing these renderings set to dramatic music on social media.

Eric Trump previously asserted that the planned library would become “one of the most beautiful buildings ever built” and serve as “an Icon on the Miami skyline.” The video included panning shots detailing both the exterior and interior designs of the proposed structure.

Inside the Proposed Library

The interior visualizations reveal several distinctive features intended for the library. These include a presidential jet parked within the lobby area.

Other notable elements shown are a golden escalator, reminiscent of the one Donald Trump used when launching his 2015 presidential campaign. The design also incorporates a large ballroom, similar to one planned for the White House, and a replica of the Oval Office.

The renderings further suggest the inclusion of rooftop gardens and a large, golden statue of Donald Trump. A credit within the video attributes the design work to Bermello Ajamil, a firm based in Miami.

Project Development and Land Acquisition

Donald Trump posted the video without providing extensive context, only including a link to a new website for the library. This website currently displays a “coming soon” message alongside an option for donations.

The site for the future library is a nearly 3-acre plot of downtown real estate gifted by Miami Dade College. This land transfer was valued at over $67 million.

A legal challenge against the gift was dismissed by a judge in December. The challenge claimed the college’s board had failed to provide adequate public notice regarding the land transfer.

Broader Naming Efforts

Since leaving office, Donald Trump has reportedly sought to affix his name to various American institutions. This includes efforts related to the U.S. Institute of Peace and the Kennedy Center performing arts venue, as well as U.S. currency.

Separately, a road leading to Trump’s estate in Palm Beach was recently renamed Donald J. Trump Boulevard.
