According to the Murray Police Department, Villarreal was traveling west on 5300 South when the collision occurred as a car turned left onto Intermountain Drive. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Villarreal was pronounced dead at the scene.
Helmet Use Confirmed
Initial reports were clarified by the Murray Police Department, confirming that Villarreal was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The helmet was recovered near the accident site.
