Fatal Stabbing in Milpitas Leads to Arrest

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of fatally stabbing another teenage boy near Milpitas High School, according to the Milpitas Police Department.

Incident Details and Response

Police responded to reports of a fight involving multiple juveniles on Vienna Drive around 3:50 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds.

Victim's Condition and Identity

The injured teen was transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name.

Additional Injuries

A 16-year-old girl also sustained injuries during the altercation and received treatment at a hospital. She has since been released.

Suspect in Custody

The 17-year-old suspect remained at the scene and was taken into custody without incident. He has been booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of homicide and assault with a deadly weapon.
