Christina Schenck, VP of Digital and Communications and Investor Relations at Mercedes-Benz AG, stated that the film serves as the "perfect stage for our Mercedes‑Maybach S‑Class." She noted that after 20 years, the return of the film is celebrated with "equally stylish and prominent placement of the vehicle."
Ms. Schenck emphasized that the Maybach brand mirrors the film's embodied elegance through its sophisticated design and uncompromising excellence. The vehicle is positioned as a statement maker, not merely transportation.
The Maybach S-Class in the Film
The film features American actress Meryl Streep as a main character, Ms. Priestly. In the movie, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class provides Ms. Priestly a quiet sanctuary while navigating Manhattan's relentless energy.
This sanctuary is highlighted through details such as the hand-stitched interiors and the hushed closing of the doors. The placement aligns ultra-luxury automotive design with the film's portrayal of power dressing.

Bespoke MANUFAKTUR Tribute Vehicle
As a tribute to the brand's bespoke craftsmanship, a one-of-a-kind MANUFAKTUR Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has been created. This special edition features an interior inspired by the film, its characters, and the New York setting.
This bespoke model will be showcased at global premiere activations and various marketing events. The updated model is equipped with a revised 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, now producing 530 horsepower, an increase of over 30 horsepower from its predecessor.
The starting price for this model is noted to be above $207,150.
The Sequel's Star-Studded Cast
The sequel reunites the entire original cast two decades later. Meryl Streep stars alongside American actress Anne Hathaway, British actress Emily Blunt, and American actor Stanley Tucci.
