Police in South Jersey are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance camera hitting an NJ Transit bus driver, Officers were called to the Deptford Mall after it was reported that a bus driver was assaulted around 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2026, police said.In video shared by the police department on social media, a man can be seen standing at the front of the bus and talking to the driver. The driver can be heard telling the man that the mall is his last stop but the man argues with him before hitting him in the face. In the video, the man appears to be wearing a light-colored hoodie with the hood up and has facial hair.
