An altercation near Sun Terrace Elementary School in Concord, California, resulted in the death of a man on Wednesday evening, according to police reports.

Officers responded to reports of a fight involving several adults in the parking lot of the school, located in the 2400 block of Floyd Lane, at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man unresponsive on the ground. Both police and bystanders immediately began providing medical assistance until paramedics arrived.
