Details of the Incident
Authorities report that the woman, identified as a stalking suspect, threw an unknown substance at the two-time Grammy winner before fleeing the scene. Police have identified the suspect and expect an arrest to be made soon. Law enforcement sources indicate the woman is known to Buckingham from previous incidents.
Suspect Targeted Appointment
Investigators believe the suspect learned of Buckingham’s appointment and intentionally went to the location to confront him. The 76-year-old musician was not injured during the attack.

Lindsey Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, contributing to iconic hits such as “Go Your Own Way,” “Tusk,” and “Big Love.” He won two Grammy Awards with the band, including Album of the Year for their landmark record, Rumours.
