Kieran Hayler Tells Court of Drugs Chaos at Katie Price Home Kieran Hayler, ex-husband of Katie Price, tells Lewes Crown Court he found cocaine and empty bottles at her Sussex home. He denies rape and sexual assault charges. Kieran Hayler, the ex-husband of Katie Price, has told a jury at Lewes Crown Court that he found the aftermath of a drink and drugs binge at her Sussex home after their split. The 39-year-old, who denies three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault of a 13-year-old schoolgirl in West Sussex in 2016, described chaos inside the family home where he continued living for two months after the breakup. The court heard the property had been dubbed the Mucky Mansion. Hayler Describes House in Absolute StateGiving evidence, Hayler said he would come downstairs in the morning to carnage, with cocaine on the worktops and drugs and alcohol everywhere. He told the jury the house was in an absolute state and that he found empty bottles and drugs around the property before he moved out in 2018. The court heard the allegations against him date back to 2016.Under cross-examination by Arlette Piercy for the defence, Hayler was asked if he believed Katie Price had a vendetta against him following the split. He replied that it was not amicable and added that he had never had any contact with police. Hayler denies the charges against him.Allegations Part of a Vendetta, Hayler ClaimsHayler told the jury that the woman who accused him of raping her when she was a schoolgirl is acting from a script prepared by her mother and Katie Price. He denied reports that he is a sex addict and said the allegations that he raped the woman three times when she was 13 years old were part of a vendetta against him by his ex-wife.Asked by Ryan Richter for the Crown if he believed the woman had invented every aspect of the allegations, Hayler said that was right. The jury has been shown a video-recorded police interview the woman gave in December 2021 in which she described being raped by Hayler. Mr Richter asked him if he had thought very carefully about the recording, saying that he had worked out his theory of what happened. Hayler replied that it was not a theory.Hayler then said yes when asked if the allegation was fabricated by the woman, her mother and Katie Price. Mr Richter asked if he thought they came together in a meeting and drafted it out, to which Hayler said he did. When questioned whether he thought the woman was acting during her interview, Hayler said yes, or that she was very nervous because she was lying.Hayler said the allegations started after he split from his ex-wife and after she checked out of the Priory following her conviction for rolling her car while under the influence of drink and drugs. He told the court that the timing was almost identical and that every time something was going bad for her, a bad news story or something to do with him, there would be a threat to do with him and this.Priory Stay and Media Narrative QuestionedHe said that despite being checked into the Priory after her conviction, Katie Price was out and about. He added that this was three years after their relationship ended and that she had her phone in the Priory. She was out and about for hairdresser appointments and shopping. Then all of a sudden this allegation is made. Hayler said he thinks Miss Price is behind the allegation.Hayler denied being a sex addict and claimed stories about it were made up by his ex-wife. He said he had used that description but it was not correct. He told the court that Miss Price and her management created a narrative to create headlines, an income from those headlines and to create a narrative that he had cheated on a so-called page three model. She had decided that was what they were going to run with. She was the breadwinner so that was what they were going to run with.Asked by his defence barrister Arlette Piercy whether Ms Price had made it up for publicity, he said as with all of Kate's life. Ms Price, 48, was cross-examined as a witness earlier this week, giving evidence in which she also told of not reading any media reports of his trial due to being handcuffed to Suella Braverman all week in a Channel 4 show.Trial Background and Police InvestigationThe jury heard earlier in the trial that Hayler believes he is being set up by his former wife. In 2021, the alleged victim contacted the NSPCC charity which referred her to the police, prompting the investigation. Hayler was first interviewed by police in January 2022 and denied any of the allegations took place and that anything sexual occurred.Giving evidence to jurors last Tuesday, the complainant told the court that Hayler texted her after the third alleged rape, saying I love you goodnight, and she replied I love you too. Jurors heard when the trial opened on Monday last week that Hayler would say Ms Price made up the allegations as part of a campaign against him. Hayler believes the allegations were created and he was being set up after the breakdown of their marriage.
