The outing marks the first public appearance of River since Kelsey announced her birth on Instagram last week. Birth of Daughter RiverLast week, Kelsey Parker revealed on Instagram that she had welcomed her newborn daughter and shared her name, River. In her post, she wrote a message welcoming River to the world and calling her a little bit of hope. During the family outing, Kelsey was seen holding River, who was dressed in a white baby grow. Kelsey wore a casual black co-ord and appeared happy and healthy.The birth of River comes a year after Kelsey and Will lost their son Phoenix, who was stillborn at 39 weeks. It also comes four years after her husband Tom Parker died from a brain tumour at the age of 33. Tom was a member of the boy band The Wanted.Finding Love After LossKelsey found love with Will Lindsay, a tree surgeon, in late 2024, two years after Tom passed away. She has been open about finding love following her husband's death and has said that Tom's parents, Noreen and Nigel, fully supported her decision. She described having an amazing village of support and acknowledged how hard it is to move forward.In May, Kelsey announced her pregnancy, saying that Tom and Phoenix had sent her a rainbow baby. A rainbow baby is a term used for a healthy baby born after a family has experienced a previous pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death. Kelsey has also spoken about how meeting Will helped her recover from loneliness, saying that she was lonely and just wanted someone, and now she has met someone.Grief and Family SupportKelsey has been candid about her grief and how her children have helped her through dark times. She has said that her kids are her everything and have got her through the darkest of times. She also spoke about the difficulty of dealing with Phoenix's death three and a half years after Tom's passing, emphasising the need for normality for her children, such as doing the school run.She has explained that Tom very much lives on in their home, and they speak to him every day. For her children, they are still babies and are still processing it every day, so these conversations will never go away. Kelsey has also said that there is no wrong or right way to grieve and that she never thought at the age of 32 with two young children that she would have been widowed.Earlier this month, Kelsey hit back at a cruel troll who told her to move on and stop thinking about The Wanted star. On what would have been Tom's 38th birthday, she shared an emotional message on Instagram about missing him. Her heartwarming message was tarnished after a troll messaged her telling her to stop thinking about him. Despite this, Kelsey continues to talk about her late husband and honour his memory.
