Speculation is mounting regarding a potential reunion between wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants. Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh was recently questioned about the possibility of his team signing the free agent receiver.

Harbaugh Confirms Evaluation of All Options

Speaking to reporters at the owners' meeting on Monday, Harbaugh did not rule out pursuing Beckham. He stated that the team must look at every available option.

"The obvious pat answer would be you look at every option, and if Odell is an option, we'll be looking at him for sure," Harbaugh told the press.

Strong Relationship Maintained

Beckham, 33, previously played under Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens during the 2023 season. In that stint, he served as a depth receiver, recording 34 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

Harbaugh emphasized the enduring positive connection he shares with the three-time Pro Bowl selection. "He and I do talk. We do text," Harbaugh confirmed.

He added, "We've maintained a really great relationship. He's one of my very favorite people in the world. It's not like you don't talk to guys on things like that. And certainly we have." Harbaugh concluded by noting they will "just have to see where it all goes, what’s best for him, what’s best for the Giants."

Odell Beckham Jr.'s History with the Giants

Beckham originally joined the Giants and earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 due to his electrifying performances. Over four seasons, three of which included Pro Bowl selections, the Giants signed him to a substantial five-year, $90 million contract extension in August 2018.

Interestingly, then-General Manager Dave Gettleman publicly stated the team did not sign Beckham to trade him. However, Gettleman traded the star receiver to the Cleveland Browns just over two months after that declaration.

Career Statistics with New York

During his five seasons with the Giants, Beckham played in 59 games. His impressive totals included 390 catches, 5,476 receiving yards, and 44 touchdowns.

Recent NFL Stints and Comeback Hopes

Beckham did not replicate his peak performance with the Browns, spending only two and a half seasons there before his release. The Los Angeles Rams subsequently signed him, where he became a crucial offensive component during their Super Bowl run, scoring a touchdown before tearing his ACL.

The receiver last appeared in the NFL in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, playing nine games and securing nine receptions for 55 yards. He sat out the 2025 season and served a six-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.

Beckham recently participated well at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March. Following the event, he expressed optimism to reporters that it could serve as a "starting point" toward securing a return to the NFL.
