Jerry Jones Recalls Packers Fan Mooning His Car About 25 Years Ago Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said a hefty female Packers fan pulled down her pants and pressed her bare backside against his car window about 25 years ago after a Cowboys win in Green Bay. The story surfaced ahead of Sunday night's Cowboys-Packers game at Lambeau Field. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, 84, shared a story Tuesday about a Packers fan who mooned his car after a Cowboys win in Green Bay roughly 25 years ago. Jones said the woman ran up to his vehicle and pressed her bare backside against the window while his grandchildren were inside. He described the moment during his weekly appearance on 105.3 FM The Fan. All of my grandchildren were very small, 4 or 5 years old, and I had a car full of them, Jones said on the radio station. We had been up to watch Green Bay, and it was so cold.Fan Mooned Cowboys Car WindowAs we left the stadium, we won, and we were in a long, big car, Jones said. I saw this lady headed toward the car. She comes up beside the car running. She was so upset as a Green Bay fan, and she was pretty hefty, Jones said. She turns around and pulls it all down and just plants it right up against the window. Everybody inside was in awe and could not believe it, Jones said. Then her skin stuck to the window because it was so cold, leaving a big print before she pulled away. Jones said about 10 or 11 people were in the car and can still see that image today. He called it one of his greatest memories even though it left a cringeworthy image in his mind. Jones said he was like, oh no, as the scene unfolded. He noted the family had been riding in a long, big car in bitterly cold conditions after the Cowboys victory. Jerry's son Stephen, the Cowboys' executive vice president, shared his own recollection in a later appearance on the same radio station, according to the New York Post. Someone's memory may be a little cloudy regarding the specific tale, however. The Cowboys have won just three of 11 games in Green Bay during Jones' ownership tenure.Cowboys Packers Win HistoryThe first of those wins came in early October of 1991, which is not exactly freezing season in Wisconsin. The other two came in September 2008 and October 2016, much more recently than the 25-year timeframe Jones mentioned. This shocking story adds to the rivalry between the Packers and Cowboys. The Packers have won five of their last seven meetings between the teams. The memory surfaced because the Cowboys are visiting the Packers on Sunday night at Lambeau Field. Jones is expected to have a better entourage this time around. The Cowboys enter the game with a 2-3 record, while the Packers are 3-2. The matchup is set for Sunday Night Football.Dallas enters after a thrilling win over the Houston Texans, a result that included a game-winning drive and a late touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb. Quarterback Dak Prescott spoke with Pam Oliver after that victory and broke down the final drive and the scoring throw to Lamb. Jones was also seen hugging Prescott during pregame warmups before a preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Aug. 10, 2019.Jones Netflix Premiere AppearanceMore recently, Jones attended the premiere of Netflix's America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles on Aug. 11, 2025. Jones also reacted during the 2026 NFL Rio Game against the Baltimore Ravens at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sept. 27, 2026. He signed autographs for fans ahead of that game.Green Bay fans have their own traditions, including reciting the Wedge of Allegiance by Cheeseheads With Attitude before the Packers preseason game against the New England Patriots outside Lambeau Field. Packers tight end Tucker Kraft also heard boos from Lambeau Field fans and offered a tone deaf response, adding another layer to the team's recent storylines. Some people attending NFL games in Green Bay have long been known for their passionate and occasionally wild behavior.Cowboys Packers Rivalry RecapThat reputation gives the old story extra resonance as the Cowboys prepare to visit. For Jones, the spotlight remains on a memory that has followed him for decades and now has been shared publicly. He has made clear the original image is one he and his passengers have never forgotten. Whether it becomes a talking point again on Sunday night depends on the fans in Green Bay and whether anyone decides to recreate the moment. The story is a rich person problem in one sense, since most fans do not take a limousine ride to a game. The Cowboys owner has seen plenty of wild moments in his 84 years of life, but none are quite like the cheeky encounter he described Tuesday. The tale now adds another chapter to the long-running Packers-Cowboys rivalry.
