Jenna Bush Hager recently shared details of her distinctive dance move, known as 'The Bucking Bronco,' during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on March 31.

Actor Olivia Munn was a guest alongside Jenna and co-host Willie Geist. The segment focused on a recent debate suggesting that Gen Z members are less enthusiastic about dancing than millennials.

Munn's Dance Preferences vs. Hager's Signature Move

Munn shared her own enthusiasm for dancing, noting she enjoys getting out on the floor and often requests Dr. Dre's song, 'Nuthin’ but a 'G' Thang,' at social events.

Jenna then teased that she was about to reveal one of her own signature moves, which she hadn't planned on demonstrating. She named the move: the Bucking Bronco.

Explaining 'The Bucking Bronco'

Olivia Munn expressed immediate disbelief upon hearing the name. Jenna clarified the mechanics of the move, explaining, 'I ride somebody across the floor.'

Willie Geist quickly confirmed Jenna's description, stating, 'She does.' Munn, though curious, insisted Jenna should not perform it live on air.

The Move Detailed

Jenna elaborated on how the move is executed, referencing a past instance. 'It was our friend Emily. We'll go ahead and drop her name. She won't mind. And I was on top of her,' Jenna explained.

The performance involves one person crawling on the floor on all fours while Jenna sits on their back. She then swings one arm in the air in a circular motion, mimicking a cowboy on a wild horse.

Reactions to the Revelation

Willie Geist commented that the action was 'not really a dance move so much.' Munn was clearly taken aback by the description.

In response, Munn stated, 'Jenna, I've never been speechless with you. I don't know what to say.' Jenna playfully responded, 'I'm not sure what you should say.'

Previous On-Air Demonstrations

This is not the first time Jenna has brought up her unique dance style. In 2018, she displayed the move while interviewing Carson Daly.

During that prior segment, Jenna initially suggested the move was inappropriate for television. However, she then called over colleague Donna Farizan to demonstrate, saying, 'It's appropriate for Donna.'

In that instance, Jenna took the role of the 'horse,' asking Donna to sit on her back. Donna reacted by exclaiming, 'Oh my God, this is like a Tuesday gone wild,' while Carson Daly joked about the spectacle.
