DiCanio described the bathroom as “absolutely disgusting,” citing the presence of afterbirth throughout the space. He expressed frustration that the drain was clogged with the placenta, causing further inconvenience.

According to DiCanio, a “bloody plastic tarp” was left crumpled on the vanity, forcing him to brush his teeth in the kitchen sink. He also complained about a lingering odor and a lack of ventilation, stating, “Like, open a fucking window or light a match.”

DiCanio noted he refrained from complaining during the hours his wife was in labor and communicating with a friend. He felt it was “rude” to leave the bathroom unusable for both of them, especially considering he is often reprimanded for leaving the toilet seat up. “I live here too!” he exclaimed.
