A resident of Hanover, Dale Brown, Jr., 25, and his girlfriend, Kathleen Amesbury, 28, of Columbia, MD, have been formally charged in connection with the death of a 3-year-old child in 2025.

The tragic incident began on March 26 when emergency services transported the child to the hospital. The child arrived via ambulance from a residence located in the 7200 block of Procopio Circle, suffering from severe injuries.

Authorities determined that Brown and Amesbury were responsible for the child's fatal condition. Both individuals now face a slate of serious accusations stemming from the event.
