Jacksonville Man Found Guilty in 2023 Double Homicide
A man was found guilty on April 1, 2026, in the shooting deaths of two men discovered inside an apartment on Fort Caroline Road in Jacksonville in 2023.
Charges and Conviction
The defendant was convicted on two counts of first-degree murder, armed burglary, and grand theft. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office stated that a witness within the apartment contacted 911 to report the incident.
Victim's Family Speaks Out
In 2023, Craig Aiken, the father of one of the victims, Craivon Aiken, shared his grief with News4JAX. He described the days following his son’s death as “cloudy” and expressed the difficulty of coping with the loss.
Craivon Aiken was the youngest of eight children and is survived by two children of his own. Aiken also noted the recent reunion with his daughter, Kamiyah Mobley, after 18 years, making the loss even more painful.
