Hulu has officially released a first look at its upcoming original comedy series, Alice and Steve. Produced by the team behind the Emmy-winning show Baby Reindeer, this six-episode series offers a fresh take on the traditional romantic comedy genre.

Plot Overview: Friendship and Betrayal

The series centers on the complicated dynamic between two longtime best friends. Their bond takes a dark turn when Steve begins dating Alice’s 26-year-old daughter, Izzy.

The official synopsis highlights the ensuing conflict: Alice is devastated by the relationship, fearing she will lose both her best friend and her daughter simultaneously. As Alice attempts to sabotage the romance, Steve prepares for the confrontation, turning their once-perfect friendship into an intense, all-out feud.
