A violent domestic incident in Kearns on Monday evening, March 30, 2026, tragically resulted in the deaths of two individuals and serious injuries to two others. Unified Police responded to the scene following reports of gunfire.

Location and Initial Findings

Unified Police Sgt. Aymee Race confirmed that officers were dispatched to the area near 4100 West and 5900 South shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Monday night. Upon arrival, police encountered two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Victims Transported and Discovered Inside

Both victims found outside the residence were immediately transported to a local hospital. They were reported to be in serious condition upon arrival at the medical facility.

When the Unified Police Department subsequently entered the home to investigate further, they made a grim discovery. Officers located two additional victims inside the residence who had also been shot and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
