A vehicle left the eastbound I-90 roadway and descended a 50-foot embankment on Tuesday, November 7th. The incident occurred near milepost 40, prompting a response from Eastside Fire & Rescue and Bellevue Medics at approximately 2:10 p.m.

Details of the Crash

Photos released by Eastside Fire & Rescue (EFR) show the vehicle breached a roadside barrier before overturning down the steep slope. A tree ultimately stopped the vehicle, leaving it upside down.

Emergency Response and Patient Status

Upon arrival, emergency personnel assessed one patient for injuries. As of this reporting, no information regarding the patient’s condition has been released.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson was also present at the scene and documented the vehicle recovery process.
