Vandalism Strikes Local Dog Daycare Service

A dog daycare bus in The Colony has been left in ruins following a series of targeted acts of vandalism. The vehicle, known as the Adventure Doggy Bus, suffered extensive damage, including shattered windows, broken mirrors, and smashed lights.

The owner, identified as Andrew, expressed deep distress over the incident. He noted that the bus, a converted school bus, is a staple for his clients, with dogs often waiting eagerly for their daily adventures.

Owner Devastated by Repeated Attacks

Andrew typically parks the bus near Wilcox Park in The Colony, close to his residence. He was first alerted to the destruction on Saturday morning when police arrived at his home to report the damage.

The situation escalated Saturday night when Andrew discovered the bus had been vandalized a second time, this time from the inside. "The first time, maybe you had your fun bashing things but the second time? To come back again, it feels more, who’s out to get me?" Andrew stated. He emphasized that he is unaware of any enemies who would target his business.

Moving Forward After the Damage

Despite the heartbreak of seeing his hard work destroyed, Andrew is choosing to remain resilient. He described the situation as a "story of triumph" rather than just a tragedy.

Andrew plans to utilize funds to purchase a new bus while the original vehicle undergoes necessary repairs. The Colony police are currently investigating the incidents and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
