Disneyland Paris has inaugurated a significant new era with the official opening of World of Frozen, which anchors the massive expansion and rebranding of the resort's second theme park into Disney Adventure World. This transformation is designed to deeply immerse visitors into various beloved storytelling universes.
The Arrival of Disney Adventure World
The rebranding ceremony commenced dramatically, featuring Spider-Man appearing atop the park's Earffel Tower to announce the new name, Disney Adventure World. The initial guests welcomed onto the newly established pathways were children and families associated with the Make-A-Wish foundation.
New Promenade and Nighttime Spectacle
A key element of the reimagining is Adventure Way, a newly landscaped promenade. This avenue introduces the "Raiponce Tangled Spin" attraction and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
Adventure Way leads guests toward Adventure Bay, a newly featured lake. This body of water now serves as the stage for the spectacular "Disney Cascade of Lights" nighttime show, marking a major entertainment upgrade.
Exploring the World of Frozen
Within the new section, guests can now explore a detailed recreation of Arendelle. The World of Frozen is a major draw, offering several new experiences for visitors.
Attractions and Dining
The land features the "Frozen Ever After" attraction, allowing guests to journey through the film's narrative. Additionally, the area hosts the "A Celebration in Arendelle" stage show.
For dining, visitors can stop by the Nordic Crowns Tavern, which offers a menu specifically inspired by Scandinavian cuisine. This completes the immersive environment of the new land.
Official Unveiling Ceremony
The official reveal was marked by a welcome ceremony featuring top Disney executives. Attendees included Josh D'Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, and Thomas Mazloum, President of Disney Experiences.
Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, also participated in leading the celebration. Mazloum stated that Disney Adventure World is intended to be a destination where guests can step directly into the stories of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar.
Celebrity and Musical Performances
The festivities included a notable musical performance by singer Santa, who performed "Into the Unknown" from "Frozen 2" on the piano.
A 10-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient named Lou joined Santa on stage for a duet of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" alongside a robotic Olaf. International celebrities, including Spice Girl Emma Bunton and "Emily in Paris" stars Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, were also present for the opening.
Disney Adventure World and the World of Frozen are now officially open to the public, inviting guests to experience the new magic at Disneyland Paris.
