A grass fire broke out Tuesday night at Bluff Lake Nature Preserve in north Denver, consuming roughly two acres of land.
Fire Reported in Central Park Neighborhood
The Denver Fire Department first reported the overnight fire at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday. The blaze occurred within the city’s Central Park neighborhood.
Extent of the Damage
Fire officials confirmed that approximately two acres near the lake were affected by the fire. Fortunately, no structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Investigation Underway
Investigators arrived at the nature preserve, located at 11255 E. MLK Jr. Blvd., on Wednesday morning. They are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
