Russell brings a wealth of experience from his 11-season NBA career, having averaged 17 points and 5.6 assists per game. He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2015 and earned an All-Star nod in 2019 while playing for the Brooklyn Nets. Most recently, he played for the Dallas Mavericks before being traded to the Washington Wizards in February 2026.
