A Public Moment of Distress
A photograph obtained by Page Six shows Summer House star Ciara Miller sitting on a sidewalk in New York City, slumped against an Hermes storefront. In the image, Miller is wearing a white dress and appears to be in distress while being comforted by an unidentified man who is crouching beside her and holding her arms.
According to an eyewitness, this moment was captured just one minute before Miller’s close friend, Amanda Batula, and Miller’s ex-boyfriend, West Wilson, released a public statement confirming they are in a relationship.
Batula and Wilson Address the Relationship
Following the circulation of the news, Batula and Wilson issued a joint statement to address the speculation surrounding their new romance. They explained that their decision to keep the relationship private initially was due to the complexities of their social circle and the public scrutiny associated with reality television.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the statement read. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things.”
A Longstanding Friendship
The pair emphasized that their romantic connection was unexpected and evolved from a genuine, long-term friendship. They noted that they have supported each other through various challenges over the years.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they added. The couple expressed a desire to approach the situation with care, acknowledging that their actions could have an impact on others and stating that they never intended to cause hurt or appear careless.
