Global music icon Celine Dion has announced her highly anticipated return to live performance this autumn. This marks her first series of concerts since revealing her diagnosis with the rare neurological condition, stiff-person syndrome (SPS).

Paris Engagement: A Major Milestone

The Grammy-winning vocalist confirmed on Monday that she will perform a limited engagement consisting of 10 shows in Paris. These performances are scheduled to take place at the Paris La Défense Arena.

Key Dates and Venue Details

The concerts are slated to run for five weeks, starting on September 12 and concluding on October 14. This schedule represents a significant milestone for Dion after years away from touring due to her health struggles.

The production has been titled “Celine Dion Paris 2026.” The shows will feature her extensive catalog of hits performed in both English and French. Creative director Willo Perron is developing the production.

Dion Addresses Fans After Health Challenges

Dion shared the news via an emotional video message delivered from beneath the Eiffel Tower on her 58th birthday. She expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing support she has received from her global fanbase.

“Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support,” Dion stated. She added that she feels “strong” and “excited” to finally step back onto the stage to perform for her audience once again in Paris.

Career Context and Recent Appearances

Dion has significantly reduced her public performances since having to cancel her Courage World Tour as her condition progressed. However, she made a brief, widely viewed appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

During that event, she performed atop the Eiffel Tower, offering a glimpse of her enduring stage presence. With nearly 260 million albums sold worldwide, Dion remains one of pop music's most decorated and bestselling artists.

She is celebrated for enduring hits such as “My Heart Will Go On” and “Because You Loved Me.”
