The Concept Behind 'Shuffle Play'

Barrera’s central idea is that clothing has a life beyond its initial owner. As the designer explained, clothes don’t begin and end with a single person. This concept is reflected in the collection’s design choices.

The silhouettes featured subtle imperfections – sleeves were often too long, waists slightly tight, and collars askew – creating the impression of borrowed items never fully adjusted.
