Major Anime Revival Confirmed for July 2026

A significant Shonen Jump series, which was previously cut short, is officially returning with a brand new anime revival. This highly anticipated comeback is set to premiere in July 2026, marking its return eight years after its initial broadcast ended prematurely.

This development aligns with a current trend where many nostalgic anime franchises are making impressive returns, sometimes with reboots or entirely new continuations. The original manga ran under Shueisha’s Jump Square and Jump+ from 2016 to 2018, but its initial anime run did not achieve the expected reach.

“As for the production, I’ve been supervising the settings and storyboards,” Takaki added. He feels the new version has been recreated to be even better while fully respecting the original narrative. He concluded by noting, “A new [era] has been brought to life, now with voices, sounds, movement and color. There are battles, cats, and thighs! We hope you enjoy it!”
