The musical collaboration between Calvin Harris and Kasabian, titled 'Release the Pressure,' has maintained its leading position on the WARM Global Dance Radio chart for a fourth consecutive week.
Chart Performance and Tracking Data
Released in early February, the track continues to dominate the latest ranking. During the tracking week of March 20-26, 'Release the Pressure' accumulated more than 700 radio spins.
These spins were registered across a network of over 200 monitored radio stations worldwide, according to data provided by World Airplay Radio Monitor (WARM).
Top Five Movers on WARM Global Dance Radio
Several other tracks saw significant movement within the top tier of the chart. ANOTR’s “Talk to You,” featuring 54 Ultra, climbed two spots to reach a new peak position of No. 2.
FISHER’s “Rain” experienced a slight dip, moving from second place down to No. 3. Milky and Mall Grab’s collaboration, “Just the Way You Are,” held steady at its high position of No. 4.
Rounding out the top five, Gordo and Reiner Zonneveld’s track “Loco Loco” descended from third place to land at No. 5.
Nostalgia and New Remixes in the Mix
The track “Just the Way You Are” carries historical significance, as it samples Milky’s 2002 hit of the same name. That original song achieved five weeks at No. 1 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart and is now considered a house music standard.
Adding a contemporary touch, Australian electronic trio PNAU released a new remix of the song on March 20.
David Guetta Leads Artist Presence on Global Chart
David Guetta currently holds the distinction of having the most entries on the full 100-position WARM Global Dance Radio chart, with four tracks charting.
His featured songs include “Upside Down” (with Jaden Bojsen), “Save Me Tonight” (with Jennifer Lopez), “Crazy” (with Matt Sassari, Jack Back, and Amira Eldine), and “Locked In” (with MORTEN and featuring Trippie Redd).
Jack Back is recognized as one of Guetta’s production aliases, often utilized for his house music-focused projects.
Other Top Artists
Following Guetta, artists James Hype, HUGEL, MK, and John Summit each have three songs currently listed on the chart.
WARM Global Dance Radio Chart Overview
WARM has recently expanded its dance chart offerings with the introduction of the WARM Global Dance Radio chart. This ranking debuted on Billboard.com on March 10.
It now complements Billboard’s existing U.S.-based dance listings, such as Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance/Mix Show Airplay.
The 40-position Global Dance Radio chart aggregates airplay data from over 200 dance-focused radio stations situated in more than 30 different countries. This reflects songs gaining global traction through the network of programmers and radio gatekeepers operating internationally.
