The accident occurred around 9:30 am local time (8:30 am BST) on Friday, October 11th. Initial reports indicate the trainee driver missed her turn while leaving the Juvisy bus station, resulting in a collision with a parked vehicle.

Successful Rescue Operation

All four individuals on board – the trainee driver, her instructor, and two passengers – were rescued from the water. Bystanders played a crucial role in the rescue, rushing to help as the bus began to sink.

Natacha, a local resident, recounted hearing screams and throwing a lifebuoy to a woman in distress. She and two others pulled the woman onto her houseboat before emergency services arrived.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Fire crews, rescue boats, and a helicopter were deployed to the scene. Divers searched the submerged bus to ensure no one was trapped inside.
